I have noticed a recurring impulse to harness and preserve a fleeting moment. I’m someone who is almost instantly nostalgic. In tandem, I’ve seen my tendency to be captivated by the sometimes foreboding illusion of what’s to come. The awareness of this always leads me back to holding what is, knowing that its passing nature is part of its loveliness.
